Go Find Asia is a travel discovery site sharing the places, experiences, food, culture and stories that make Asia worth exploring.
Through first-hand experiences, travel writing and photography, we look for the famous places that deserve their reputation, the less obvious ones worth knowing about, and the occasional discovery you weren’t expecting to find.
There’s a Lot of Asia to Find
Asia is enormous, varied and full of places worth looking at more closely. Some are famous for good reason. Others are the restaurant you nearly walked past, an island you hadn’t considered, a night out you didn’t expect, or an experience that becomes one of the best parts of the trip.
About Dave
I’m Dave, a travel writer and photographer based in Thailand.
A lot of what appears on Go Find Asia begins simply by going somewhere — walking through a neighbourhood, visiting a beach or temple, trying somewhere to eat, joining a tour or occasionally staying somewhere worth writing about.
Thailand is naturally a big part of the site because it’s where I live and spend the most time exploring, but Go Find Asia reaches much further across the region.
What Go Find Asia Does
There isn’t a checklist of destinations we’re trying to complete. We write about things we genuinely think are worth discovering.
That might mean an island or landscape that makes you want to see it for yourself, local food worth seeking out, history and culture that changes how you see a place, an outdoor adventure, a memorable hotel stay or tour, or somewhere that comes alive after dark.
